“I Lava You.” – Love, Holly

1 year ago today Holly and Eric had a uniquely fun “surprise” wedding with close friends and family at the exquisite Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, California.

6 months before their wedding, Holly approached me about creating a surprise gift for Eric about their love story. In the years they dated, they collected memorabilia on their adventures together like lift tickets from snowboarding in Big Bear, Dodgers and Angels games, trolley car tickets in San Francisco and even the hospital bracelet Eric wore from his visit to the ER! It just made sense that the foreground of the painting should be the snowy mountains where they snowboard and the beach where they skateboard together.

62 layers deep rich in texture, this 24″x24″ painting is named “I Lava You” – An inside phrase they share. The colors included emerald green and gold, their wedding colors.
