FormDecor, America’s largest event rental provider of authentic, iconic 20th Century modern furniture that specializes in the Modern and Mid-Century masters. From Bauhaus to Classic, they offer LeCorbusier, Eames, Saarinen, Nelson, Starck, Rashid and more, as well as Kelly Wearstler and Dorothy Draper inspired Hollywood Regency designs and unique collectibles.
So when they and Natalie Vishny of Swellegant Events asked me to accent FormDecor‘s gorgeous furnishings at their open house just south of L.A. featuring wedding decor, I was thrilled at the opportunity to create modern, textured artwork just for them –
– For the ceremony decor, I created two 26 layer, 36″x12″ fuchsia and aqua mixed-media paintings on canvas. Designed with a blocked, graphical look, they incorporate decorative papers and postcards fusing together old and new.
– For the lounge area, I created a 72″x12″ textured painting on canvas with a gold zebra and hot pink paisley pattern to complement their furniture.
Artwork like this gives life to the decor and ties everything together. Whether it’s for a wedding, anniversary or corporate event, I can create artwork that complements the decor for the event while giving clients a forever reminder in their home or office to share the story with friends and family.
